I am very proud of our team. Not only are each of them professionals conducting themselves as such each have a unique perspective that adds value to our clients home renovation projects.
It is the breadth of experience across the team that helps us take your project from start to finish in such a way that makes you want to work with us. We help clients visualize their project and explain what they should expect and share our experiences with them, informing them about what may work best for their situation. We draw on our collective experience that we reflect on to help us provide tips and expertise of how other clients have successfully dealt with similar remodeling challenges.

David Phillips established D.L. Phillips Construction in January 2020.
We are an Olympia based residential contractor specializing in remodel, additions and new construction. We work in Thurston, Mason and Lewis counties.
David was a managing partner at LeMier Phillips Construction Company from 2005 to February 2020. David is a third generation General Contractor based in Olympia and the first in his family to specialize in the residential sector.
Kim in her own words:
In my job I wear a lot of hats I perform all the bookkeeping tasks, HR, process development, oversee hiring, job costing analysis and safety implementation! What I love most about my job is making connections. I have been working with David Phillips for over 10 years and doing this type of work for much longer! When I am not working you would most likely find me either spending time with my family or out embracing one of my two favorite hobbies; waterskiing or enjoying the tiki lifestyle.
Garrett Hempstead is a recent addition to the company. Right from the start it was apparent what an asset to the company he is. He initially was hired to take on the responsibilities of Estimator but has also stepped into the role of Project Manager.
Garrett uses his years of experience as a carpenter, as well as his ability to understand the big picture to keep our jobs running as smoothly as possible and staying on schedule. His communication skills are essential in keeping our clients, carpenters, subcontractors, and the office all informed on job progress.
After work, you most likely will find him playing with his dogs and enjoying his free time!
